Anet is not going to be able to do anything for you with this situation. It's wither a GW.DAT corruption problem or a PC memory/other hardware error. First try reinstalling the guildwars DAT file. You will need to wait overnight while you sleep to reinstall the DAT.
Go to your guildwars directory (i don't know vista, but on XP) it is "C:/Program Files/Guild Wars/" look for the GW.DAT file. Again note that this will take a while, but delete the DAT file from this directory (or if you feel safer, just MOVE it out of the directory to somewhere else)
Now go to your start button, then go to "run" (if on XP, again I don't know vista at all) ad type in the directory of GW.EXE with -image so it looks like this.
"C:/Program Files/Guild Wars/Gw.exe -image"
It will take a LONG time even on broadband connections, so you will need to do this before you go to bed, expect it to be done by morning possibly. If you have dial up this is not a good idea, might need to look for a friend and have him copy the dat file to a flash drive for you.
EDIT: While I think about it... if you still get the same error or another memory related one after this, your RAM might be to blame.
